You Were Made For More Than Just Getting By

Hey there! I'm Becky — a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) and the founder of Beloved and Renewed Counseling. I started this practice because I believe that healing is possible, that you are deeply loved, and that the two don't have to be separated.

I work with individuals navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, and the kinds of relational pain that can quietly shape your entire life. My approach is integrative — meaning I draw from a range of evidence-based methods including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and somatic work — always tailored to who you are and what you need.

I also have the privilege of offering faith-integrated therapy for clients who want their relationship with God to be part of their healing journey. I don't believe you have to choose between clinical excellence and deep spiritual care. In my experience, the two belong together.

Outside the therapy room, I'm a wife, a mom, a runner, and someone who has experienced firsthand what it means to be held by grace in the middle of hard things. That shapes how I show up with every person I sit with.

Serving clients in Jacksonville, St. Johns, and St. Augustine, FL and throughout Florida via telehealth.

A Note on My Licensure

I am registered with the State of Florida as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI), which means I am in the supervised practice phase of my licensure journey — the final step before full independent licensure in Florida.

During this period, I work under the clinical supervision of Rebecca Maxwell, a licensed clinician with Jacksonville Counseling Services. This means that Rebecca provides ongoing oversight of my clinical work to ensure you are receiving care that meets the highest professional and ethical standards. It's a built-in layer of accountability that actually benefits you as a client — you're getting the eyes and expertise of two clinicians invested in your care.

This is a standard and required part of the licensure process in Florida, and it in no way limits the depth, quality, or confidentiality of the work we do together. Your sessions are still private, your therapeutic relationship is still with me, and the care you receive is fully professional.

If you have any questions about what this means for your treatment, I'm happy to talk through it in a free consultation.
